The Richard Miranda Global Achievement Award recognizes a REALTOR® who exemplifies Richard Miranda’s dedication and achievements in international and commercial real estate. The award honors individuals who demonstrate expertise, innovation, and leadership in serving global clients and expanding their business across borders.

Criteria & Evaluation

Nominees must meet the below requirements and will be scored on a scale of 1 to 5 for each area. The nominee with the highest overall score will earn the award. The committee may consider factors beyond the established criteria, such as a nominee’s impact on the international real estate community or contributions to the profession’s advancement.

  • Experience (20%): Demonstrated experience in completing international real estate transactions or collaborating directly with international clients.
  • Education (20%): Commitment to ongoing education and professional development in international real estate.
  • Experience (20%): Demonstrated experience in completing international real estate transactions or collaborating directly with international clients.
  • Advocacy (15%): Active involvement in promoting and advocating for the CIPS designation and its value to the real estate industry.
  • Leadership (15%): Demonstrated leadership in the global arena through involvement in local, state, or national REALTOR® associations or international organizations.
  • Collaboration (10%): A commitment to fostering collaboration and building relationships with international partners and organizations.
  • Commitment (10%): A dedication to helping others succeed in international real estate.

Texas REALTORS® reserves the right not to award the prize if no nominee meets the required standards.
